Welcome to "Ons Huisie" (literally translated to Our Small Home). Experience the many traditional names and words that form part of the menu and relax when music takes you to places so familiar to some, but new and exciting to many others. For starters we recommend the Boy Boonzaier Fishcakes or the creamy Strandloper’s Mussel Pot, followed by a traditional main course such as the Oven Baked Snoek with apricot & butter sauce, or the ostrich bobotie. End on a sweet note with Cape Bread Pudding or Souskluitjies with a dollop of cream. And now we have a new addition to Ons Huisie - "Ons Huisie Pizzeria" - which serves true Italian cuisine at an affordable price.

When Café Sofia opened their first shop, their aim was to create a comprehensive product, able to cover a bigger part of the 24 hours, blending early morning with the trendy day bistro topped with a chic night spot and spicing it up with some Latino flavour. Sounds just about impossible... Add to it beautiful people and voila - Café Sofia! Urban, informal and sexy! Meze, tapas and antipasto, served on small plates, is shared by everyone at the table. The food is a fusion mixture of the rich and healthy eating cultures sourced from South Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
